Peter went for lunch with his colleagues. Three high stakes investment guys in their 40s wearing suits walking past 11 Wall St, New York, US – stock market epicenter.
Their faces were worried – because of some plummeting stocks.
Suddenly Peter began to jump: left – left – right – two feet – right – right – left – two feet – right – left – two feet – baaahmmm – ready. A perfect hopscotch on Wall Street. And Peter walked on.
His colleagues didn’t notice what had happened. Didn’t care.
But Peter had a smile on his face.
A smile in a difficult situation can make all the difference.
You can hopscotch everywhere.
That’s why it’s a children’s move all around the world: they call it Kith-Kith in India, Himmel und Hölle in Germany, Amarelinha in Brazil, Marelle in France, Tumatu in Ghana and Rayuela in many countries of South America.
You can hopscotch out of a state of misery, to break a tens situation, to loosen up if you feel insecure, anxious or just bored.
You don’t even need lines to hopscotch. Sometimes nature draws lines, you can use the paving stones of the sidewalk or just see the invisible but colorful lines you just drew on the floor with your own mind.
Micro step out by hopscotching your way out of the dark!
Some Microstepouts will get you to move.
