How to clear your Brain immediately (1)

First day in office after a long period of homedesk-working. Annie had to cope with a lot of sensory impressions at once.

  • social: saying hello to colleagues, chit-chating about the last weeks
  • audio: hearing the noise of every day working life, the absence of which she had enjoyed so much in homeoffice
  • smell-wise: all the different lunch snacks sneaking into her office and nose mixing to a hard to bear mixture of olfactory overload
  • visual …
  • content related …

    you name it…

The need to clear her brain was absolutely required. Annie took out her MSO toolbox.

Being part of a discussion group, that had a hard time focussing on the main task, she put a ball of imaginary smokey and dense fog into the room. Just to stand up and step inside of it, where the air was clear and refreshing.

Her sensory capabilities were active – 100%. She could see and hear the outside – but still she was separated. Just the simple step inside of her personal haze cleared her mind – freed her thoughts.

Throughout the whole discussion she could step in and out of the foggy ball of clearness – contributing to the problem solving in the group, but distancing herself from the distracting elements immediately.

To clear our brain immediately is a helpful skill. Try it, use it, train it.

Be independent from the hustle around you.
