How to stop being overwhelmed – play Bingo instead

Mary hat too much on her plate:

  • holding the deadline for her work-project
  • manage her kid‘s school event for friday
  • accompany grandma to the doctor
  • calling the plummer
  • buying groceries
  • driving Jack to his tabletennis tournament
  • schedule dentist for the family
  • etc.

Usually she crossed off one task after another. Stressed out. Always with the feeling of not being able to keep up.
But not today.

She closed her eyes, took three deep breaths and turned the to do list into a bingo card – multicolored and friendly looking. Every task became a living number on the card.

So to dos turned into a game – her personal Bingo-game.

Every next task was called by the Bingo-host. But it was not some outside force, that was put upon Mary.
She became the bingo-host herself. Looking forward to call the next number. And – from the player’s perspective – enjoying the fact, that she was called – Bingo!

This day her tasks were handled just so.
