Fight the desert

In 1970 an author from Germany wrote a book – a story, that changed the perspective on the incredible worth of fantasy for millions of kids and their parents. He called it the „never ending story“ – the name of it’s creator is Michael Ende and indeed – the story hasn’t ended until this moment.

In the book two kids from different worlds are going on an adventure to not less than save the world. Funny thing is, both of them don’t even know, what they are about to uncover.

The thruth, they will uncover is this: if people forget about fantasy and playful imagination – both of which are of the most precious things all humans own – they destroy not only their lives, but a whole world: the World of Fantasia. Because it only exists if enough humans create it every second all over again – with the help of just their own minds.

If you’ve read the book, you will know one cure for the disease – if not I highly recommend to read it or at least give a copy to your kids.

The neverending story relentlessly points to the same issue we adress in the MicoStepOut-journey.

If we loose our ability to be playful and emerge into fantasy loaded situations – our life becomes deserted.

Look for your chance to prevent the desert from growing.
